A blog post from Crooks and Liars, Blue America, says that I need to help out some guy named Keith Ellison save the world.....hold on while I Google who he is...
So Keith Ellison is a member of Congress from Minnesota's 5th district, and is part of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party. Why the author wants me to help him "save the world" is unclear and is pretty dramatic if you ask me.
Unlike the author from the Dallas Newspaper, this one is pretty biased and uses a lot of aggressive words like, "right-wing hate machine" and "stream of hatred" to make it seem like the Republicans are just a bunch of hateful and vengeful people.
Even the blog site itself is called "Crooks and Liars" and where you go to submit a post is called "Blue America". So I believe it is safe to say that this is a Democratic blog site intended for Democrats. Just sayin.
The blog post itself is talking about the attack on Social Security checks and how working class Americans will be struggling even more with life after retirement and bills that need t be payed. By supporting Keith Ellison, who is a very active supporter for average working Americans, he will fight for them to keep all the money they have earned.
To me this post didn't prove to be a valid argument, because the author seemed to be very biased and gave one side to the story and didn't bother to mention any facts about the other. That is to be expected though with a specific party political blog.
