Love doesn't see race, color, gender, or sex. So why should we
discriminate against it? Same sex marriage shouldn't be considered a
crime against humanity and should be treated with as much respect and
tolerance as any other married couple.
I support the author, mguerrero22.blogsopt.com, argument that same sex marriage should be
allowed and recognized. She makes a good valid argument that it is an
infringement on civil rights and that people shouldn't be so hasty as to
just completely eliminate it and not be so open minded as to letting it
happen.
She has done a great job stating her personal opinion and
explain why she believes it should happen. She could've, though, have
gone further and elaborated more with the subject matter. For instance,
giving previous history examples like how everyone was against African
American civil rights or women suffrage. It is as old and outdated as
floppy disks and walk-mans.
Overall I enjoyed the authors post and
stand by it 100% of the way. She has taken a very highly debated and
controversial topic and broke it down to where it was short, sweet, and
to the point. As I had previously stated, some examples or even some
evidence as to why those states adopted the law and not others would've
been great
